Rating: Negative Type: zer0burn sold item to jiffylube1024 Description: 2.8c intel P4 CPU no HSF Comments: We had organized a Date/Time to meet. Last minute he cancels.
Few days later says hes taking a trip and he\'ll take the CPU if its still avaliable then. I PM him saying I havent sold it yet.
A few days later he gets back to me even though he has logged on multiple times since my first PM.
Now states he does not want the CPU at all does not have the money for it anymore.
I have all the PM\'s verifying everything.
Matthew Response from jiffylube1024: I screwed up on this one, plain and simple.
I organized to buy the CPU (god knows why) the day after my summer school exams finished on Friday, June 16th at noon. I completely forgot about it by mid week, as I had been studying for two exams. My exams were on Wednesday the 14th at 7pm and Thursday the 15th at 7pm.
After that, my schedule didn't permit me to pick up the CPU and I had no time or need for it - I had a weeklong trip to Paris planned for the Wednesday after my exams (departure: June 21st). I spent the time after my exams packing and preparing for the trip. To make matters worse, the straw that broke the camel's back, my basement has been under renovation for over two months now (it was supposed to be finished by the time of my trip!) - my computer parts are scattered around the main floor, I'm sleeping in a spare bedroom and the basement is still not finished as of this day (July 7th). Renovations began April 28th!
I'm usually fine with juggling lots of things at once, but I finally slipped up. I committed to buy something that I didn't need during a time when too much was in disarray.
I still kept the PM's too. On June the 20th I told him to keep the CPU listed and that I'm still interested in the CPU but to try to sell it while I was gone. I should have been more overt than just an implication at the time and told him straight up that since I had so much stuff on my plate that it was looking like I wouldn't want the CPU when I get home. As of today my stuff is still in disarray until the basement gets finished. Thankfully the carpet is planned to go in next week, and I can start moving my stuff back, and getting organized again. It’s been a two months.
I apologize for my deal gone bad and I hope he finds another buyer for the CPU.

Rating: Positive Type: Blitzkreig75 bought item from jiffylube1024 Description: Bought a Maxtor DiamondMax SATA drive from user Comments: Shipped it quickly, packed properly. Bought the drive to attempt the PCB swap-out. The PCB was, in fact, accurately matched to the one I needed and the 'old' drive worked after replacement. This user saved a LOT of audio production work for me. Thanks a TON | Kabob983 | | | | |
