| | Rating: Negative Type: jp and zodder cross-traded items Description: Traded a 20.4 gig hard drive for two 10 gig hard drives Comments: I mailed the drive out the day after we said we'd make the trade. I emailed him the day before he was supposed to get the drive and he said he'd email me when he got it. Well UPS Tracking showed he got it yet I got no email. I emailed him multiple times over the span of a week and still was being ignored. He was there on the computer online b/c he was still actively posting at anandtech, yet he wouldn't email me back. I posted informing the board that he screwed me over and finally he emailed me saying that I was emailing the wrong address even though I was emailing the one that was in his profile. Then he got real rude with me b/c I posted saying he screwed me over. So he mailed it out and I got it this morning. He packaged it in the same box I sent him and the two drives were just laying next to each other with no protection between them. No telling how many times they bounced against each other during delivery and no telling if they'll even work. They are ice cold due to the weather so I'm not gonna hook them up until they warm up. Trading with Zodder was definitely a negative experience. I wish I could turn the clock back and trade with someone else but I'm one to learn from my mistakes. Wow, the only negative comment amongst all the positives. I wonder if the people at heatware will let it stand for the world to see, or just brush it under the rug so that Zodder will not look bad.. Comments: Very smooth transaction. Joe's a great guy and the machine does what he says. I'm running stable at 3.25GHz from the 2.6C P4 chip. The ram is Geil DDR500 - Whooo Haaa! I received the computer within the week shipped via FedEx. I've done some modding since then and taken out the stock fan but just angled the huge Panaflo 120mm fan over it and it's dropped in ambient temperature by 3ºC-4Cº.
Joe might be on the Golf course a lot, but he has excellent hardware to sell =)
